It often looks like Greek, but it's
Latin. You might know that if you could read it,
but many prescriptions are written so quickly that they are difficult
for anyone to read.
So ask your doctor, before you leave, to explain
what is written there. Your health or even your life may depend
on it.
Here are some abbreviations and their meanings
to help you understand some of the most basic words:
