Meet the Allergy Wizard...for Kids |
If you’ve already seen the Asthma Wizard, you know that National Jewish Hospital talks to kids at their level. The same is true of their Allergy Wizard. It makes learning about allergies fun for children. (And if you want to check out the Asthma Wizard you can do so from this site.)
There are colorful, cartoon drawings that move. Subjects include allergy testing, going to school with allergies, getting ready for holidays with allergies, and more. And the site can be seen in English or Spanish.
The Allergy Wizard has all kinds of activities that are fun and that will help you learn about allergies. You can take The Allergy Quiz, play games, take the Wizard through a maze, and learn about writing a school action plan, just to name a few!
Kids can even e-mail the Allergy Wizard with their questions or problems.
