Spring trees have bloomed
but the grasses will be with us all summer. If you're allergic
to them, it's time to avoid, close and cover. |
- Avoid pollen as much as you can, especially
in the early morning when the pollen count is usually highest.
- Close your windows and put on the air conditioning.
Being inside with the windows open is like being outside.
- Avoid hanging clothes outside to dry.
- After outdoor activity and before going to
bed wash your hair to reduce contact with the pollen while you
are asleep.
- Cover your face when you're working or playing
outdoors. Wear a filter mask when you mow the grass. Better yet,
get somebody to mow it and stay inside.
