What We
Can Do For You
Allergy and asthma diagnosis and treatment
are what we do ...all day, every day. We're proud of the fact that
we are really good at it.
We should be. It requires at least nine
years of intense postgraduate study to become an allergist/immunologist.
You don't just "get over" allergies, and just taking a pill won't
give you the best results. You need to find out what's causing
your sneezing or coughing or rash or ear infections, or many other
symptoms.
And then you need to treat those causes,
not just the symptoms. That's where all that study and training
come in. That's when it's time to see an allergist.
We are dedicated to giving you the best
quality care in the fields of allergy and asthma, and to giving
you a better quality of life by helping to find those causes and
alleviating or controlling your symptoms.
On your initial visit we document your complaints,
do investigative studies and suggest an approach to your condition
based on our findings. Many of our patients show significant improvement
immediately upon following the recommendations made.
We know that allergic conditions can make
you unnecessarily miserable for extended periods of time and
can have complications. Allergic factors influence significantly
the following symptoms:
- Nasal Congestion
- Wheezing
- Sneezing
- Coughing
- Watery nasal discharge
- Shortness of Breath
- Post nasal discharge
- Watery, itchy eyes
|
Conditions which can be caused by allergic
disease include:
- Asthma
- Rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal tissues)
- Sinusitis
- Repeated respiratory infections
- Urticaria (hives)
